Procedure for Attack
1, The attacker starts approximately one walking stance away from the defender, taking the right leg back into walking stance (gunnun sogi), left low section outer forearm block (najunde bakat palmok makgi), with a shout (kihap) to signal they are ready to attack.
2, When the defender shouts, commence the attack.
3, Step forward into walking stance, middle section obverse punch (kaunde baro jirugi). Repeat three times.
4, The distance between the attacker and defender is the attacker's responsibility. Make sure that each time you step forward your front foot lands close to your opponent's foot.

Procedure for Defence
1, The defender starts in parallel ready stance facing the attacker and shouts when they are ready to defend.
2,The defender should shout when executing the counter attack.

1 Number One
1. Right leg back into walking stance, inner forearm block (an palmok makgi) to the inside of the opponent's arm. Repeat three times.
2. Counter attack with a reverse punch (bandae jirugi) to the solar plexus.
2 Number Two
1. Left leg back into L-stance (niunja sogi), inner forearm block to the outside of the opponent's arm. Repeat three times.
2. Counter attack by adjusting the left foot then sliding the right leg behind the opponent to form a left L-stance and executing a right knife-hand strike (sonkal taerigi) to the opponent's neck.
3 Number Three
1. Left leg back into L-stance, inward moving, outer forearm block (anuro bakat palmok makgi) to the inside of the opponent's arm. Repeat three times.
2. Counter attack with a right, backfist front strike to the bridge of the opponent's nose, (dung joomuk ap taerigi).
4 Number Four
1. Left leg back into L-stance, inner forearm block to the outside of the opponent's arm. Repeat three times.
2. Counter attack by adjusting the right foot then stepping behind the opponent with the left leg into sitting stance (annun sogi). Measure a punch to the opponent's ribs and execute a double punch (dibo jirugi) - right then left.
5 Number Five
1. Right leg back into L-stance, outer forearm block to the inside of the opponent's arm. Repeat twice.
2. Counter attack as the opponent steps forward for the third attack. Move the right leg 45 degrees outwards to form a sitting stance, while simultaneously performing left outer forearm block to the inside of the opponent's arm and right punch to the opponent's jaw.
6 Number Six
1. Right leg back into L-stance, knife-hand block (sonkal makgi) to the inside of the opponent's arm. Repeat twice.
2. Counter attack as the opponent steps forward for the third attack. Move the right leg 45 degrees outwards to form a sitting stance, while simultaneously performing left knife-hand block to the inside of the opponent's arm and right inward knife-hand strike (anuro sonkal taerigi) to the side of the opponent's neck.
7 Number Seven
1. Right leg back into L-stance, outer forearm block to the inside of the opponent's arm. Repeat twice.
2. As the opponent steps forward for the third attack, slide back to the right diagonal landing in right L-stance, forearm guarding block (palmok daebi makgi).
3. Counter attack with right middle section front kick (ap chagi), landing in right walking stance and executing a double punch - right then left, to the opponent's mid section.
8 Number Eight
1. Right leg back into L-stance, knife-hand block to the inside of the opponent's arm. Repeat twice.
2. As the opponent steps forward for the third attack, slide back to the right diagonal, landing in right L-stance, knife-hand guarding block (sonkal daebi makgi).
3. Counter attack with right middle section side kick (yop chagi), landing in left L-stance and executing right knife-hand strike to the opponent's neck.
9 Number Nine
1. Right leg back into L-stance, palm pushing block (sonbadak miro makgi) to the outside of the opponent's arm. Repeat twice.
2. As the opponent steps forward for the third attack, take the right leg backwards and continue sliding back to the left diagonal, landing in right L-stance forearm guarding block.
3. Counter attack by executing right middle section turning kick (dollyo chagi), then place the right foot behind the opponent in vertical stance (soojik sogi) and execute right knife-hand strike to the back of the opponent's neck.
10 Number Ten
1. Right leg back into L-stance, knife-hand block to the inside of the opponent's arm. Repeat twice.
2. As the opponent steps forward for the third attack, slide back to the right diagonal, landing in right L-stance, knife-hand guarding block.
3. Counter attack with right middle section back kick (dwit chagi), landing in walking stance and executing left reverse knife-hand strike (sonkal dung taerigi) to the opponent's philtrum.

At the end of each sequence, the attacker steps back into parallel ready stance and the defender returns to parallel ready stance facing the attacker. The roles are then reversed.
